One day, the Australian Pamela Watt decided to leave her home country and follow her dream: to start a B&B and Cooking School in the Chianti!
Set on the top of a beautiful hill, overlooking the campagna of the Chianti, the B&B Under The Tuscan Moon, has a lot to offer to her guests. Panoramic views look up to the small medieval village of Volpaia, over to the Romanic parish of Santa Maria Novella and across the valley to the village of Radda-in-Chianti.
The interior of the farmhouse has beautiful timber beam ceilings and terracotta floors. The entry level consists of a modern kitchen and dining area, a comfortable lounge area where you can sit in front of the huge fire-place and a living room to relax, browse books or simply enjoy each others company. There is central heating throughout for comfort in winter, whilst in summer natural airflows from the surrounding hills and the natural stone keep the house cool and fresh.
Not only the location itself, but also Pamela's cooking classes make Under The Tuscan Moon one of the nicest stays in Tuscany. Her "hands on" classes are conducted in a very friendly atmosphere and will give you the feeling of getting up to your elbows in flour when making hand rolled pici and pasta.
