TRAVELLING FROM ROME:
Take the Autostrada A1 towards Florence. Exit at VAL D’ARNO and turn right to MONTEVARCHI. On entering Montevarchi follow signs to GAIOLE-IN-CHIANTI and RADDA-IN-CHIANTI.
After about 15 minutes uphill, turn right at the signpost for RADDA-IN-CHIANTI.
Drive through La Villa and past a filling station. Instead of turning right towards Radda in Chianti keep on the left following signs to GREVE and FLORENCE.
After about 3 kilometres turn right at the signpost to VOLPAIA.
Just before you get to VOLPAIA look for a long driveway on the right hand side, lined with cypress trees leading to the farmhouse.
TRAVELLING FROM FLORENCE:
From the centre of Florence follow the directions for Siena and reach the Florence Certosa square (with the highway toll house on your right). Go straight and take the SIENA-FLORENCE Superstrada.
From Florence airport take the direction to Roma and enter in the Autostrada A1 highway. Exit at FLORENCE CERTOSA and turn right onto the SIENA-FLORENCE Superstrada.
After about 18kms on the SIENA-FLORENCE Superstrada, exit at San Donato. Turn left and follow signs to GAIOLE-IN-CHIANTI and GREVE.
Do not enter the village of San Donato but follow the road until it is narrow and you reach on your left a small church with a portico. Turn left immediately after the church following the sign for GAIOLE-IN-CHIANTI, GREVE and SICELLE etc.
Follow the road downhill through LA PIAZZA and at the bottom of the hill turn left following the sign to GREVE.
After the T-Junction after few turns uphill, turn right at the sign to RADDA-IN-CHIANTI. Drive through LUCARELLI and after 7-8 kilometres look out for the signpost to VOLPAIA and turn left. Just before you get to VOLPAIA look for a long driveway lined with cypress trees leading to the farmhouse.
TRAVELLING FROM SIENA:
Drive out from Siena following the directions for road number S222 called Chiantigiana (Siena north) to Castellina in Chianti.
Drive along the S222 passing through Quercegrossa and Fonterutoli.
When you are in Castellina in Chianti go straight following the signs to RADDA-IN-CHIANTI, GREVE, FLORENCE.
After a few kilometres turn right to RADDA-IN-CHIANTI on the road S429. When you reach RADDA-IN-CHIANTI go straight through the village. You are now going downhill. Leave a Chapel on your left and at the following cross road go right following signs to FLORENCE, LUCARELLI. After about 2 kilometres look out for a signpost to VOLPAIA and turn right. Just before you get to VOLPAIA look for a long driveway lined with cypress trees leading to the farmhouse.
