The Fattoria Torre del Castellano is a small and lovely wine producing agritourism, looking out on the Arno valley, surrounded by vineyards, olive yards and woods. The estate is positioned next to one of the most beautiful castles in the surroundings of Arezzo. This castle was probably built in the 10th century and has been used in World War II as a deposit for the statues of the Uffizi Museum, to protect them from bombings on Florence.
Not only does the Fattoria offer a superb location near the highway for visiting Florence and Arezzo, but also for visiting the Mugello racing circuit and for outlet shopping in "The Mall". This outlet, at only 5 minutes distance, offers 25 boutiques of important fashion stores like Gucci, Armani, Ferragamo, Dolce e Gabbana, Burberry's, Emilio Pucci and others.
The two holiday farmhouses offered for guests are especially suitable for families or small groups of friends. It is also possible to rent the whole agritourism for groups up to 17 people.
