Le Fonti a San Giorgio is a farm located on the San Lorenzo hill, right in the heart of Chianti area, between Florence and San Gimignano. The farm is surrounded by 70 hectares of land covered with vineyards and olive trees and is entirely administrated by the loveable Giovannelli family.
The old farmhouse has been restored and divided into eight comfortable apartments, furnished in a typical Tuscan country style, with large living rooms and fireplaces for romantic winter weekends.
On the very top of the hill, in a superb panoramic position, sits the charming country inn, created from an old deconsecrated chapel. The inn has double and twin-beds rooms with air conditioning and private bathroom.
Particular attention and care is given to the Tuscan cooking, served in the restaurant of the inn, which offers a wide selection of typical local dishes in a familiar and warm atmosphere. Lovers of culinary arts can also enjoy the outdoor pizza dinners, coming straight from the wood oven, as well as wine tasting courses.
